Summer break is officially over for me and Corbin. Sniff, sniff. We had one last hoorah this evening before it's back to the grind of our morning routine- teaching/ advising for me and playing/ potty-training at school for him. He FINALLY pedaled his tricycle all by himself (well, he wants me to still hold onto the handle) and then we both wallowed around in lukewarm water from the water hose that we put into his comically small kiddie pool. It was seriously thirty minutes of great fun. He especially liked the fact that he can make my belly "jiggle wike jewo" when he slaps it. Ha, ha ha. I'm glad that extra tummy padding entertains somebody! Corbin is such a great distraction from deployments, bills, and chores; keeps me young.
